How long does a nutrition counseling session take?
Typically the initial session takes 45 minutes to an hour, and follow-up sessions take 15- 30 minutes.
How much does nutrition counseling cost?
MBC is a participating provider for BCBS, UHC, and Cigna. If insurance does not cover services, an agreement on a price per session or a package fee will be agreed upon depending on the individual needs.
Do you do allergy testing?
We do not do allergy testing, but we do provide help with meal plans and food selections based on food allergies.
Do you do blood tests?
No, we do not do blood tests but we provide counseling to help improve abnormal blood test results.
How many times would we meet?
The number of visits is different for each individual, as is the frequency of visits.
